Abstract
A light fixture includes a lower housing, a lower LED light source disposed in the lower housing and configured to project downlight, an upper housing, an upper LED light source mounted in the upper housing and configured to project rear or sidelight, a switch, a power supply, and a light control circuit including dimming means. The power supply and control circuit are configured to connect to a power source, with the switch operative to selectively energize both the lower and upper LED light sources.
Claims16
An LED light fixture having a support base and a support post extending from the support base, comprising:
- the LED fixture secured to the support post at a cylindrical support, the cylindrical support having a forward LED light source housing with a forwards LED light source and a rear LED light source housing with a rear LED light source, both the forward LED light source housing and the rear LED light source housing secured to the cylindrical support,
- wherein the rear LED light source housing generates light in a circumferential direction about the cylindrical support in a direction substantially transverse to the forward LED light source housing;
- wherein the forward LED light source housing has a transmitting cover secured to an end of the forward LED light source housing to direct light in a multi-forward direction;
- and wherein a light diffusing lens extends about the rear light source housing generating light in a circumferential direction about the cylindrical support;
- an LED light control circuit mounted in association with the LED light fixture and adapted for connection to a power source, the LED light control circuit having a dimming circuit and a rear and forward driver current supply circuit, a switch operative to connect driver current to the forward LED light source when actuated to an “on” position and to disconnect driver current to the forward LED light source when in a normal “off” position, the switch being operative for engagement to the “on” position to provide driver current to the forward LED light source and illumination from both the rear and forward LED light sources of the LED light fixture.

A light fixture comprising:
- a rear LED light housing having a rear LED light source;
- a forward LED light housing with a forward LED light source and having an outer periphery globe lens;
- the rear LED light source mounted in a rear housing of the light fixture and configured to provide light in a circumferential direction about a cylindrical support of the light fixture in a direction transverse to the forward LED light source housing;
- the forward LED light source positioned spaced relative to the globe lens resulting in directing light in a multi-forward direction and a downward direction;
- and
- the rear LED light source and the forward LED light source adapted for connection to a power source, an LED control circuit having a dimming circuit, a circuit, and a switch configured to energized at least one of the forward and rear LED light sources.

A dual LED light fixture comprising:
- a forward LED light source housing and a rear LED light source housing, the rear LED light source housing being located on an outer circumferential light transmitting outer side area adjacent to the forward LED light source housing, the outer circumferential light transmitting outer side area being surrounded by a removable rear cover plate;
- a forward LED light source mounted in the forward light source housing to generate front light;
- a rear LED light source to generate rear light illumination, the rear LED light source mounted inwardly from the outer circumferential light transmitting outer side area;
- and
- a circuit adapted for connection to a power source mounted in association with the LED light fixture, the circuit configured to actuate the forward LED light source when a switch is in a first state, and the circuit configured to actuate the forward LED light source and rear LED light source when the switch is in a second state.
