Abstract
A railway termination shunt enclosure including one or more receptacles, each of the one or more receptacles being configured to receive a termination shunt. The enclosure also includes at least one mounting surface and a connector assembly rotatably attaching the one or more receptacles to one or more of the at least one mounting surface.
Claims14
A railway shunt enclosure comprising:
- a receptacle configured to receive a termination shunt;
- a mounting surface;
- a connector assembly rotatably attaching the receptacle to the mounting surface, and an outer wall defining an opening and including a bottom, a ledge adjacent the bottom, and a movable lid,
- the movable lid including an interior projecting surface,
- the receptacle being rotatable to a protruded position so as to partially protrude through the opening when the movable lid is in an open position,
- the ledge engaging with and stopping rotation of the receptacle partially protruding through the opening when the movable lid is in the open position,
- the interior projecting surface engaging with and counter-rotating the receptacle into a retracted position not protruding through the opening when the movable lid is moved from the open position to a closed position.
