Abstract
The invention relates to an RFID arrangement comprising an RFID tag and a housing at least partially enclosing the RFID tag, wherein the RFID tag has a first contact and a second contact, and wherein the first contact is electrically connected to the housing. The invention relates further to a corresponding piece of jewelry, to corresponding methods, and to a corresponding local sending arrangement.

An RFID arrangement comprising:
- an RFID tag;
- and
- a housing at least partially enclosing the RFID tag;
- wherein the RFID tag has a first contact and a second contact, the first contact being electrically connected to the housing.

- a socket for receiving a gemstone;

A method of manufacturing an RFID arrangement, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing one of a housing and a socket for receiving a gemstone, the socket being at least partially made of electrically conducting material;
- performing one of positioning an RFID tag inside the housing and mechanically connecting the RFID tag with the socket;
- and
- performing one of connecting a first contact of the RFID tag to the housing and electrically connecting the first contact and a second contact of the RFID tag with the socket.
