A system comprising:
- a frame assembly with a first portion, a second portion, and a spring, wherein:
- the frame assembly is configured to be coupled to an end of a wall;
- the second portion is configured to be adjustably coupled to the first portion along an end surface of the end of the wall so that the frame assembly is adjustable to fit different sized walls;
- each of the first portion and the second portion comprises a respective single piece of material;
- one of the first portion or the second portion comprises a bump, wherein when the frame assembly is coupled to the end of the wall, the bump is spaced away from the end surface of the end of the wall to provide a spring-like effect to:
- (a) a door in contact with the bump when the door is closing, or (b) a window pane secured to the frame assembly;
- and
- the spring is configured to be coupled to an outer surface of the first portion or the second portion.
A method comprising:
- manufacturing a frame assembly with a first portion, a second portion, and a spring, wherein:
- the frame assembly is configured to be coupled to an end of a wall;
- the second portion is configured to be adjustably coupled to the first portion along an end surface of the end of the wall so that the frame assembly is adjustable to fit different sized walls;
- and
- the spring is configured to be coupled to an outer surface of the first portion or the second portion;
- and
- manufacturing the frame assembly further comprises:
- bending or forming each of the first portion and the second portion into a respective single piece of material;
- and
- bending or forming a bump on one of the first portion or the second portion, wherein when the frame assembly is coupled to the end of the wall, the bump is spaced away from the end surface of the end of the wall to provide a spring-like effect to:
- (a) a door in contact with the bump when the door is closing, or (b) a window pane secured to the frame assembly.
