A nanoparticle composition, comprising:

• out of nanoparticles and ligands, at least the nanoparticles;
• and a curable monomer,
• wherein, at least the nanoparticles or the ligands contained in the nanoparticle composition contain aromatic rings,
• the curable monomer contains an aromatic monomer,
• the aromatic monomer is a (meth) acrylate-based monomer having at least one (meth) acryloyl group,
• the aromatic monomer is a diacrylate derivative,
• the diacrylate derivative is a compound represented by a structural formula (1) below, in the structural formula (1), each of R1 and R2 independently represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and a relationship of n+m=4 holds, and
• the diacrylate derivative is a compound in which each of the R1 and the R2 in the structural formula (1) is a hydrogen atom.
