Abstract
A component carrier including a stack having at least one electrically conductive layer structure and a plurality of electrically insulating layer structures. Methods are presented for manufacturing the component carrier where the at least one electrically conductive layer structure is arranged with a vertical connection structure continuously extending vertically through at least two of the plurality of electrically insulating layer structures.

A component carrier, comprising:
- a stack comprising at least one electrically conductive layer structure and a plurality of electrically insulating layer structures;
- wherein the at least one electrically conductive layer structure comprises a vertical connection structure continuously extending vertically through at least two of the plurality of electrically insulating layer structures.
A method of manufacturing a component carrier, comprising:
- providing a stack comprising at least one electrically conductive layer structure and a plurality of electrically insulating layer structures;
- and
- forming the at least one electrically conductive layer structure with a vertical connection structure continuously extending vertically through at least two of said plurality of electrically insulating layer structures.
