Network device sleep control method and apparatus, network device, and storage medium

A network device sleep control apparatus, wherein the apparatus is used in a network device, and the apparatus comprises:

• a non-transitory memory storing instructions;
• and
• a processor coupled to the non-transitory memory;
• wherein the instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the apparatus to be configured to:
• obtain measurement data, wherein the measurement data is attribute data that indicates the network device to process a service;
• obtain a first sleep policy, wherein the first sleep policy comprises a rule item and an action item;
• determine that the measurement data meets the rule item;
• and
• control, according to the action item, one or more indicated sleep objects to sleep in a corresponding sleep time period, wherein the sleep objects comprise at least one of the following objects:
• a switch board, a switch chip, and a switch port, the network device comprises a service board and the switch board, the switch board comprises the switch chip and the switch port, and the switch port is used for communication between the switch board and the service board.

A computer-readable storage medium, wherein the computer-readable storage medium stores at least one computer instruction, and the computer instruction is read by a processor of a network device, to enable the network device to perform:

• obtaining measurement data, wherein the measurement data is attribute data that indicates the network device to process a service;
• obtaining a first sleep policy, wherein the first sleep policy comprises a rule item and an action item;
• determining that the measurement data meets the rule item;
• and
• controlling, according to the action item, one or more indicated sleep objects to sleep in a corresponding sleep time period, wherein the sleep objects comprise at least one of the following objects:
• a switch board, a switch chip, or a switch port, the network device comprises a service board and the switch board, the switch board comprises the switch chip and the switch port, and the switch port is used for communication between the switch board and the service board.
