Abstract
An optical sensor system may include a light source. The optical sensor system may include a concentrator component proximate to the light source and configured to concentrate light from the light source with respect to a measurement target. The optical sensor system may include a collection component that includes an array of at least two components configured to receive light reflected or transmitted from the measurement target. The optical sensor system may include may a sensor. The optical sensor system may include a filter provided between the collection component and the sensor.
Claims20
An optical sensor system, comprising:
- a light source;
- a concentrator component;
- a collection component that includes a plurality of optical tapers,
- wherein the light source is separate from the collection component, and
- wherein the concentrator component is closer to the light source than the collection component;
- and
- a barrier,
- wherein the collection component is on a first side of the barrier, and
- wherein the concentrator component is on a second side of the barrier.
A user device, comprising:
- an optical sensor system, comprising:
- a light source;
- a concentrator component configured to direct light from the light source toward a measurement target;
- a collection component configured to receive light reflected or transmitted from the measurement target,
- wherein the collection component includes a plurality of optical tapers;
- and
- a barrier,
- wherein the collection component is on a first side of the barrier, and
- wherein the concentrator component is on a second side of the barrier;
- and
- a sensor.
An optical sensor system, comprising:
- a filter;
- a sensor;
- and
- a collection component configured to direct light toward the filter,
- wherein the collection component includes a plurality of optical tapers, and
- wherein the filter is arranged between the sensor and the collection component.
