• A=polyhydroxylated alkyl, saccharide;
• B=—OSO3−M+, where M is a cation that forms an acceptable salt;
• R1=a heterocyclic, substituted or unsubstituted straight chain or branched chain heteroalkyl, alkyl or alkenyl, having 1 to 22 carbon and/or heteroatoms;
• and
• R2═H;
• alkyl;
• including all stereoisomers thereof.
