Display substrate and display apparatus

A display substrate, comprising:

• a display area and a periphery area surrounding the display area;
• the display substrate further comprising:
• a signal line, wherein the signal line comprises a first section located at the periphery area;
• a plurality of basic spacers, wherein at least a part of the plurality of basic spacers are located at the display area;
• a plurality of compensation spacers disposed at a first periphery area, wherein an orthographic projection of the first periphery area onto a base of the display substrate at least partially overlaps with an orthographic projection of a side face of the first section onto the base;
• a layout density of the plurality of compensation spacers is greater than a layout density of the plurality of basic spacers;
• and
• an encapsulation structure, wherein the encapsulation structure comprises an organic encapsulation layer and an inorganic encapsulation layer arranged in a stack, the organic encapsulation layer and the inorganic encapsulation layer covers the plurality of compensation spacers.
