Harq codebook and feedback for multi-pdsch repetitions

A method for wireless communications by a network entity, comprising:

• transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), downlink control information (DCI) that schedules:
• a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for transmitting repetitions of a first transport block (TB) and at least a second PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a second TB;
• providing repetitions of the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH to the UE, in a set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions at the UE, the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions corresponding to an uplink slot for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback and being based on a set of downlink slots corresponding to a reference repetition of each of the first TB and the second TB and a set of start and length indicator values (SLIVs) corresponding to the set of downlink slots;
• and
• receiving the HARQ-ACK feedback from the UE, wherein the HARQ-ACK feedback is based on a codebook generated according to the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions.

An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:

• a memory;
• and
• a processor coupled to the memory, the processor and the memory configured to:
• receive downlink control information (DCI) that schedules:
• a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for transmitting repetitions of a first transport block (TB) and at least a second PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a second TB;
• monitor for repetitions of the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH in a set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions corresponding to an uplink slot for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback, wherein the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions are based on a set of downlink slots corresponding to a reference repetition of each of the first TB and the second TB and a set of start and length indicator values (SLIVs) corresponding to the set of downlink slots;
• and
• transmit the HARQ-ACK feedback indicating results of the monitoring, wherein the HARQ-ACK feedback is based on a codebook generated according to the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions.

An apparatus for wireless communications, comprising:

• means for receiving downlink control information (DCI) that schedules:
• a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for transmitting repetitions of a first transport block (TB) and at least a second PDSCH for transmitting repetitions of a second TB;
• means for monitoring for repetitions of the first PDSCH and the second PDSCH in a set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions corresponding to an uplink slot for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback, wherein the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions are based on a set of downlink slots corresponding to a reference repetition of each of the first TB and the second TB and a set of start and length indicator values (SLIVs) corresponding to the set of downlink slots;
• and
• means for transmitting the HARQ-ACK feedback indicating results of the monitoring, wherein the HARQ-ACK feedback is based on a codebook generated according to the set of candidate PDSCH reception occasions.
