Wiring board, manufacturing method thereof, and battery pack provided with wiring board

A method of manufacturing a wiring board, comprising:

• a cutting step of providing a patterned metal plate by cutting a metal plate in a wiring pattern, the patterned metal plate including a coupling portion and a plurality of lead lines including a connection portion, adjacent lead lines of the plurality of lead lines being coupled to each other with the coupling portion;
• a laminating step of providing an intermediate board including the patterned metal plate and an insulating layer on a surface of the patterned metal plate by bonding an insulating material on the surface of the patterned metal plate;
• and
• a modifying step of separating the plurality of lead lines from each other by locally removing a portion of the intermediate board in a removal region including the coupling portion.

A battery pack comprising:

• a battery block including a plurality of battery cells and a plurality of connection terminals, the battery block having a terminal surface on which the plurality of connection terminals are provided;
• a wiring board including a plurality of connection portions connected to the plurality of connection terminals of the battery block, respectively;
• and
• a case accommodating an assembled battery therein, the assembled battery including the battery block and the wiring board coupled to the battery block, wherein
• the wiring board includes:
• a patterned metal plate made of a metal plate cut in a wiring pattern, the patterned metal plate including a plurality of lead lines coupled to the plurality of connection portions;
• and
• an insulating layer bonded onto a surface of the patterned metal plate such that adjacent lead lines out of the plurality of lead lines are disposed at fixed positions and insulated from each other.
