Electronic device and method of providing the same

An electronic device comprising:

• a display panel including a first region corresponding to an electronic module, a second region which extends from the first region, and a third region which is spaced apart from the first region with the second region therebetween;
• and
• a protective layer facing the display panel at the second region and the third region, the protective layer including:
• a first protective part including a first base resin and an ultraviolet curable resin, the first protective part being adjacent to the first region and overlapping the second region;
• and
• a second protective part including a second base resin different from the first base resin and a heat radiating material which is in the second base resin, the second protective part being coplanar with the first protective part, adjacent to the second region and overlapping the third region.

A method of providing an electronic device, the method comprising:

• providing a display panel including a first region corresponding to an electronic module, a second region which extends from the first region, and a third region which is spaced apart from the first region with the second region therebetween;
• providing a first protective part of a protective layer on a lower surface of the display panel, by providing a first resin having an ultraviolet curable resin, to the lower surface of the display panel at the second region thereof;
• providing a second protective part of the protective layer, by providing a second resin having a heat radiating material, to the lower surface of the display panel at the third region thereof;
• and
• providing the electronic module facing the first region of the display panel.
