Abstract
Systems and methods are provided for creating, synchronizing, and managing repair orders across a landscape of interconnected systems. Examples disclosed herein can provide for automated creation and/or correction of repair orders by applying a repair order creation model trained on acceptable and unacceptable repair orders to input repair order data. Furthermore, examples disclosed herein can compile repair order data and vehicle identifiers to generate a secured data structure for tracking service events rendered on the vehicle.
Claims20
A cloud-based platform system, the platform system comprising:
- a memory configured to store instructions;
- and
- at least one processor communicatively coupled to the memory, the at least one processor configured to execute the instructions to:
- obtain first repair order data from a first system, the first repair order data comprising a vehicle identification number (VIN) of a vehicle and information defining a service event rendered on the vehicle;
- generate a data structure for the VIN, the data structure comprising blocks representative of historical service events rendered on the vehicle;
- and
- append the first repair order data to the data structure by compiling the first repair order data and the VIN into a first block;
- wherein a second system accesses the data structure using the VIN to track service events rendered on the vehicle.
A method for generating repair orders, the method comprising:
- training a repair order creation model based on training data comprising a plurality of repair orders and training parameters comprising criteria information that are derived from one or more processing routines for processing repair order according to rules and polices of one or more external systems;
- applying the trained repair order creation model on input repair order data for a service event performed on a vehicle;
- generating, by the repair order creation model, output repair order data that is predictive of information required by the one or more processing routines;
- and
- storing the output repair order data in a database, wherein the one or more external systems apply the one or more processing routines on the output repair order for providing determinations on the service event.
A repair order synchronization system, the repair order synchronization system comprising:
- a cloud-based server communicatively coupled to a plurality of repair order data sources and one or more external systems, the cloud-based server configured to:
- obtain repair order data from the plurality of repair order data sources, the repair order data comprising a vehicle identification number (VIN) of a vehicle and information defining service events rendered on the vehicle;
- execute a first application configured to compile the repair order data and VIN into a data structure for tracking the service events rendered on the vehicle by the one or more external systems;
- and
- execute a second application configured to generate predictive repair order data based on applying input repair order data to a repair order creation model, the predictive repair order comprising information required by the one or more external systems.
