Prevent capture of a displayed object on a mobile device

At least one computer-readable non-transitory storage medium carrying instructions, which, when executed by at least one data processor of a system, cause the system to:

• obtain information to present on a first user device,
• wherein the information is configured to be presented on a display screen of the first user device;
• obtain an indication of a shutter speed associated with a light sensor associated with a second user device,
• wherein the light sensor associated with the second user device is configured to record the information presented on the display screen of the first user device;
• obtain a refresh rate associated with the display screen associated with the first user device,
• wherein the refresh rate indicates a frequency with which the display screen associated with the first user device is refreshed;
• adjust the refresh rate associated with the display screen to be smaller than the indication of the shutter speed;
• and
• cause the first user device to present on the display screen the information at the adjusted refresh rate,
• wherein the adjusted refresh rate causes a garbling of a recording of the display screen associated with the first user device by the second user device.

A system comprising:

• one or more hardware processors;
• and
• one or more non-transitory memories storing instructions, which, when executed by the one or more hardware processors, cause the system to:
• obtain information to present on a first user device,
• wherein the information is configured to be presented on a display screen of the first user device;
• obtain an indication of an exposure time associated with a light sensor associated with a second user device,
• wherein the light sensor associated with the second user device is configured to record the information presented on the display screen of the first user device;
• obtain a refresh rate associated with the display screen associated with the first user device,
• wherein the refresh rate indicates a frequency with which the display screen associated with the first user device is refreshed;
• adjust the refresh rate associated with the display screen to obtain an adjusted refresh rate;
• and
• cause the first user device to present on the display screen the information at the adjusted refresh rate,
• wherein the adjusted refresh rate causes a garbling of a recording of the display screen associated with the first user device by the second user device.
