Abstract
A continuous indexing system configured to enable the continuous indexing of image features for use in image matching and visual systems. In certain embodiments, the system comprises a plurality of servers, wherein the plurality of servers include a first server for extracting and writing image features to a database, and a second server configured for querying the database and updating image retrieval artifacts.
Claims20
A system comprising:
- at least one processor;
- at least one memory component storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, a request to associate an image with media content within a database;
- selecting an image matching model from among a plurality of image matching models based on the image;
- generating an image description that comprises a set of image features based on the image matching model;
- associating the image description with the media content within a database;
- receiving a query that comprises image data from a client device;
- detecting the set of image features based on the image data;
- accessing the media content within the database based on the set of image features;
- and
- causing display of the media content at the client device.
A method comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, a request to associate an image with media content within a database;
- selecting an image matching model from among a plurality of image matching models based on the image;
- generating an image description that comprises a set of image features based on the image matching model;
- associating the image description with the media content within a database;
- receiving a query that comprises image data from a client device;
- detecting the set of image features based on the image data;
- accessing the media content within the database based on the set of image features;
- and
- causing display of the media content at the client device.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, from a client device, a request to associate an image with media content within a database;
- selecting an image matching model from among a plurality of image matching models based on the image;
- generating an image description that comprises a set of image features based on the image matching model;
- associating the image description with the media content within a database;
- receiving a query that comprises image data from a client device;
- detecting the set of image features based on the image data;
- accessing the media content within the database based on the set of image features;
- and
- causing display of the media content at the client device.
