Abstract
An event is received from a managed organization. The event is normalized to obtain a normalized event. The event is determined to be of a likely transient type based on the normalized event. In response to determining that the event is of the likely transient type, performance of an action is withheld for a pause period. The action includes triggering an alert responsive to the event, and performing the action includes triggering an incident responsive to the alert.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving an event from a managed organization;
- normalizing the event to obtain a normalized event;
- determining, based on the normalized event, that the event is of a likely transient type;
- and
- in response to determining that the event is of the likely transient type, withholding performance of an action for a pause period, wherein the action comprises triggering an alert responsive to the event, and wherein performing the action comprises triggering an incident responsive to the alert.
A system, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- one or more memories, the one or more processors configured to execute instructions stored in the one or more memories to:
- receive an event from a managed organization;
- normalize the event to obtain a normalized event;
- determine, based on the normalized event, that the event is of a likely transient type;
- and
- in response to determining that the event is of the likely transient type, withhold performance of an action for a pause period, wherein the action comprises triggering an alert responsive to the event, and wherein performing the action comprises triggering an incident responsive to the alert.
One or more non-transitory computer readable media storing instructions operable to cause one or more processors to perform operations, comprising:
- receiving an event from a managed organization;
- normalizing the event to obtain a normalized event;
- determining, based on the normalized event, that the event is of a likely transient type;
- and
- in response to determining that the event is of the likely transient type, withholding performance of an action for a pause period, wherein the action comprises triggering an alert responsive to the event, and wherein performing the action comprises triggering an incident responsive to the alert.
