A method, comprising:
- at a computer system that is in communication with one or more audio output devices and a display generation component:
- while a first object is visible, via the display generation component, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, audio corresponding to the first object at a first prominence of audio output;
- while outputting audio corresponding to the first object at the first prominence of audio output, detecting an occurrence of an event that includes detecting attention of a user moving away from being directed to the first object;
- and
- in response to detecting the occurrence of the event that includes detecting the attention of the user moving away from being directed to the first object, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, the audio corresponding to the first object at a second prominence of audio output that is lower than the first prominence of audio output.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing one or more programs configured to be executed by one or more processors of a computer system that is in communication with one or more audio output devices and a display generation component, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- while a first object is visible, via the display generation component, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, audio corresponding to the first object at a first prominence of audio output;
- while outputting audio corresponding to the first object at the first prominence of audio output, detecting an occurrence of an event that includes detecting attention of a user moving away from being directed to the first object;
- and
- in response to detecting the occurrence of the event that includes detecting the attention of the user moving away from being directed to the first object, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, the audio corresponding to the first object at a second prominence of audio output that is lower than the first prominence of audio output.
A computer system that is in communication with one or more audio output devices and a display generation component, comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing one or more programs configured to be executed by the one or more processors, the one or more programs including instructions for:
- while a first object is visible, via the display generation component, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, audio corresponding to the first object at a first prominence of audio output;
- while outputting audio corresponding to the first object at the first prominence of audio output, detecting an occurrence of an event that includes detecting attention of a user moving away from being directed to the first object;
- and
- in response to detecting the occurrence of the event that includes detecting the attention of the user moving away from being directed to the first object, outputting, via the one or more audio output devices, the audio corresponding to the first object at a second prominence of audio output that is lower than the first prominence of audio output.
