Abstract
A system and method of determining pre-verification information for use by a certification authority to verify and attest phone numbers associated with healthcare facilities is provided. The method includes receiving an unverified phone number and determining, using one or more matching operations, whether the unverified phone number is associated with a healthcare facility. In response to such determination, the unverified phone number and a facility name associated with the healthcare facility is sent to a certification authority server to be used to verify the unverified phone number. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving an unverified phone number;
- determining indirectly, by a processing device of a communication server, that the unverified phone number is a pre-verified phone number associated with a healthcare facility;
- and
- sending a call request using the unverified phone number, wherein the call request includes a digital certificate associated with the pre-verified phone number by a certification authority server.
A system comprising:
- a memory to store an unverified phone number;
- and
- a processing device, operatively coupled with the memory, to:
- determine indirectly that the unverified phone number is a pre-verified phone number associated with a healthcare facility, and
- send a call request using the unverified phone number, wherein the call request includes a digital certificate associated with the pre-verified phone number by a certification authority server.
A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions executable by a processing device of a system to cause the system to:
- receive an unverified phone number;
- determine indirectly, by the processing device, that the unverified phone number is a pre-verified phone number associated with a healthcare facility;
- and
- send a call request using the unverified phone number, wherein the call request includes a digital certificate associated with the pre-verified phone number by a certification authority server.
