Abstract
A method for generating at least a first control area for a biological analysis includes depositing on a surface a solution comprising a first control analyte in order to generate the first control area. A system is configured to carry out the method. A method is also provided for analysing a biological sample including at least one first target analyte.

A method for generating at least a first control area for a biological analysis, the method comprising:
- depositing on a surface a solution comprising a first control analyte in order to generate the first control area.
A flexible carrier for carrying at least a first control area, the flexible carrier comprising:
- a first side and a second side opposite the first side,
- wherein the first side of the flexible carrier comprises the first control area comprising at least a first control analyte, and
- wherein the second side of the flexible carrier comprises an adhesive.
A sample holder for a biological sample including at least one first target analyte, the sample holder comprising:
- a sample area configured to hold the biological sample, and
- at least a first control area comprising at least one first control analyte identical to the at least one first target analyte.
