Abstract
Disclosed herein are cell processing systems, devices, and methods thereof. A system for cell processing may comprise a plurality of instruments each independently configured to perform one or more cell processing operations upon a cartridge, and a robot capable of moving the cartridge between each of the plurality of instruments.

A system for processing cell products in parallel comprising:
- a workcell comprising:
- a feedthrough;
- a plurality of instruments for cell processing;
- a robotic arm coupled to a linear rail;
- and
- an enclosed cartridge configured to receive a cell product and independently interface with the feedthrough, a first of the plurality of instruments, and a second of the plurality of instruments,
- wherein the enclosed cartridge is configured to be sterilized within the feedthrough, wherein the enclosed cartridge is coupled to one or more fluidic pathways for transferring fluid into the enclosed cartridge, and wherein the robotic arm is configured to move the enclosed cartridge between the feedthrough and one or both of the first instrument and the second instrument.

A method for automated processing of cells carried by a cartridge within a workcell, comprising:
- sterilizing the cartridge within a feedthrough of the workcell, wherein the workcell houses a plurality of instruments for cell processing and a robot attached to a linear rail;
- moving the cartridge, via the robot, to a first of the plurality of instruments;
- and
- performing at least one cell processing operation on the cells when the cartridge is interfacing with the first instrument.
