Abstract
The present invention provides a method of inhibiting a viral respiratory disease, comprising: administering to a subject, in need thereof, an effective amount of L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630, wherein L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630 secrete mersacidin.

A method of treating a viral respiratory disease, comprising:
- administering to a subject, in need thereof, an effective amount of L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630, wherein L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630 secrete mersacidin.
A method of treating a viral respiratory disease, comprising:
- systemically administering to a subject, in need thereof, a pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of mersacidin.
A method of treating gut dysbiosis, comprising:
- administering to a subject, in need thereof, an effective amount of L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630, wherein L. reuteri strain 3632 and/or strain 3630 secrete mersacidin.
