Abstract
A method for coupling a first bone portion to a second bone portion includes coupling a first flexible connector having a first structural characteristic to the first bone portion at a first site, coupling the first flexible connector to the second bone portion at a second site, and coupling a second flexible connector having a second structural characteristic to the first bone portion at the first site, with the second structural characteristic being different than the first structural characteristic. The method also includes coupling the second flexible connector to the second bone portion at the second site.
Claims7
A method for coupling a first bone portion to a second bone portion, the method comprising:
- coupling a first flexible connector having a first structural characteristic to said first bone portion at a first site;
- coupling said first flexible connector to said second bone portion at a second site;
- coupling a second flexible connector having a second structural characteristic to said first bone portion at said first site, said second structural characteristic being different than said first structural characteristic;
- and
- coupling said second flexible connector to said second bone portion at said second site.
