Abstract
A battery management system can include a transmission unit configured to broadcast an operation command signal and a temperature measurement command signal to a plurality of slave battery management systems (BMSs), a communication unit configured to transmit a FAN ON signal to at least one fan for cooling at least one slave BMS among the plurality of slave BMSs, a reception unit configured to receive an association signal based on a result of operating in response to the operation command signal and the temperature measurement command signal from at least one slave BMS among the plurality of slave BMSs, and a control unit configured to manage a communication channel with the at least one slave BMS based on the association signal.
Claims13
A battery management system, comprising:
- a transmission unit configured to broadcast an operation command signal and a temperature measurement command signal to a plurality of slave battery management systems (BMSs);
- a communication unit configured to transmit a FAN ON signal to at least one fan for cooling at least one slave BMS among the plurality of slave BMSs;
- a reception unit configured to receive an association signal based on a result of operating in response to the operation command signal and the temperature measurement command signal from at least one slave BMS among the plurality of slave BMSs;
- and
- a control unit configured to manage a communication channel with the at least one slave BMS based on the association signal.
A battery management system comprising:
- a reception unit configured to receive an operation command signal and a temperature measurement command signal at least two times from a master battery management system (BMS);
- an operation control unit configured to execute an operation corresponding to the operation command signal;
- a temperature measurement unit configured to sequentially measure a temperature of a PCB substrate a plurality of times based on the temperature measurement command signal of the at least two times;
- and
- a transmission unit configured to transmit an association signal to the master BMS when a difference between a first temperature and a second temperature is greater than a preset value.
