Abstract
An image forming apparatus having an apparatus main body provided with an opening and a cartridge which can be inserted into and removed from the opening is used. The cartridge has a guided portion and a link member, the apparatus main body has a guide portion that guides the guided portion and a contact portion that is brought into contact with the link member, the cartridge is able to enter a first state where the guided portion is not in contact with the guide portion and a second state where the guided portion is in contact with the guide portion, the link member can change an attitude while being in contact with the contact portion and the cartridge can change an attitude by rotationally moving while being regulated by the link member.
Claims11
An image forming apparatus comprising:
- an apparatus main body provided with an opening;
- and
- a cartridge configured to be capable of being inserted into or removed from the apparatus main body through the opening, wherein
- the cartridge has a guided portion and a link member,
- the apparatus main body has a guide portion configured to guide the guided portion and a contact portion which is capable of being in contact with the link member, and
- the cartridge is capable of being in:
- a first state where the guided portion is not in contact with the guide portion;
- and
- a second state where the guided portion is in contact with the guide portion, the link member is able to change an attitude while being in contact with the contact portion, and the cartridge is able to change the attitude by rotationally moving while being regulated by the link member.
A cartridge comprising:
- a guided portion;
- and
- a link member, wherein
- the cartridge is capable of being inserted into or removed from an apparatus main body through an opening of the apparatus main body,
- the apparatus main body has a guide portion configured to guide the guided portion and a contact portion which is capable of being in contact with the link member;
- and
- the cartridge is capable of being in:
- a first state where the guided portion is not in contact with the guide portion, and
- a second state where the guided portion is in contact with the guide portion, the link member can change an attitude while being in contact with the contact portion, and the cartridge can change the attitude by rotationally moving while being regulated by the link member.
