An information processing apparatus capable of communicating via a network with plural devices, the information processing apparatus comprising:

• a user list providing unit configured to
• receive device identification information from a current device of the plural devices, and
• send, to the current device, a user list including one or more user identifiers that are stored in a storage unit in association with the received device identification information;
• and
• a program list providing unit configured to
• receive a user identifier that is selected at the current device from the user identifiers in the user list, and
• send, to the current device, a program list including sets of program information stored in the storage unit in association with the received user identifier.
