Abstract
A wearable tensiometer integrates patient-worn muscle tissue tensiometery and motion tracking to enable real-time energy measurement for an individual's full gait cycle outside of a laboratory environment.
Claims16
A kinetics monitoring system comprising:
- a tensiometer attachable to an individual to measure tension of a muscle tissue;
- a motion tracker attachable to an individual to measure muscle tissue extension;
- and
- an electronic computer communicating with the tensiometer and the motion tracker to combine tension measures and the muscle tissue extension measures to provide outputs indicating muscle tissue energy usage.
