Abstract
A rotary shear valve includes a valve body, a first pair of teeth extending radially from the valve body in a first angular direction, a second pair of teeth extending radially from the valve body in a second angular direction, and a shear seal disc.

A rotary shear seal valve, comprising:
- a valve body;
- a first pair of teeth extending radially from the valve body in a first angular direction;
- a second pair of teeth extending radially from the valve body in a second angular direction;
- and
- a shear seal disc.

- a hydraulic cylinder that defines a ram side and a rod side;
- a piston within the hydraulic cylinder;
