Overhead line system with a skewed parallel zone

An overhead line system for providing electrical energy for an electrically driven vehicle, the overhead line system comprising:

• overhead lines;
• a plurality of catenary systems, each of said catenary systems having a contact wire connected to a carrying cable by means of a plurality of connection devices and said catenary systems are disposed on a basis of parallel zones to form a continuously accessible overhead line;
• at least one of said overhead lines is disposed in a curvature section such that a vertical projection thereof in a horizontal plane has a curved profile;
• and
• at least one of said parallel zones is a curved parallel zone, which is disposed in the curvature section such that a vertical projection thereof in the horizontal plane in the curvature section follows the curved profile of the vertical projection of said at least one overhead line.

A method for creating an overhead line system for provision of electrical energy for an electrically driven vehicle, which method comprises the steps of:

• disposing a plurality of catenary systems, each of which has a contact wire connected to a carrying cable by means of a plurality of connection devices, the catenary systems being on a basis of parallel zones to form a continuously accessible overhead line;
• disposing at least one overhead line in a curvature section such that a vertical projection of the at least one overhead line in a horizontal plane has a curved profile;
• and
• disposing in the curvature section at least one curved parallel zone such that a vertical projection thereof in the horizontal plane in the curvature section follows the curved profile of the projection of the at least one overhead line.
