Abstract
An apparatus for the treatment of canine or other animal hip pathologies, the apparatus comprising a buffer adapted to be disposed between a femur and a hip socket, and a fixing means adapted to fix the buffer to the femur.
Claims20
A method for treatment of a hip joint comprising:
- fitting a buffer to an excision surface of a femur from which a femoral head has been excised;
- and
- arranging the femur so that the buffer is disposed between the femur and at least a part of a socket of the hip joint.
