Abstract
A concrete vibrator includes a vibratory head, a motor operably connected to the vibratory head and operable to drive the vibratory head at an operating speed, and a controller operable to control a speed of the motor, wherein the controller automatically adjusts voltage supplied to the motor to maintain the operating speed based on data received from the motor, wherein the data received from the motor is indicative of actual motor speed of the motor and/or voltage draw of the motor.

A concrete vibrator, comprising:
- a vibratory head;
- a motor operably connected to the vibratory head and operable to drive the vibratory head at an operating speed;
- and
- a controller operable to control a speed of the motor, wherein the controller automatically adjusts voltage supplied to the motor to maintain the operating speed based on data received from the motor, wherein the data received from the motor is indicative of actual motor speed of the motor and/or voltage draw of the motor.

A concrete vibrator system, comprising:
- a concrete vibrator comprising:
- a housing,
- a vibratory head,
- a motor operably connected to the vibratory head and operable to drive the vibratory head at an operating speed,
- a flexible shaft that couples the vibratory head to the motor, and
- a controller operable to control a speed of the motor, wherein the controller automatically adjusts voltage supplied to the motor to maintain the operating speed based on data received from the motor, wherein the data received from the motor is indicative of actual motor speed of the motor and/or voltage draw of the motor, wherein the motor and the controller are provided inside the housing, and the flexible shaft extends outward from the housing;
- and
- a remote device configured to communicate with the controller to control speed of the motor.
