Abstract
A gas analysis system and method with a spectrometer, such as a Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, utilizing a reactor, such as a catalytic reactor, for providing reference spectra.
Claims15
A gas analysis method, comprising:
- switching between providing a sample stream to a spectrometer and providing a sample matrix to the spectrometer, wherein the sample stream includes an analyte of interest and the sample matrix, and wherein the sample matrix is provided by removing the analyte of interest from the sample stream;
- collecting sample spectra from the sample stream and interference spectra from the sample matrix;
- and
- analyzing the sample stream using the sample spectra and the interference spectra.
