Abstract
A refrigerator includes a cabinet having a storage space, a door configured to open and close the cabinet, a hinge bracket configured to connect the door to the cabinet and support the door to be rotatable, an auto-closing device configured to act with a hinge bracket during the closing process of the door so as to provide closing force to the door, and a damping mechanism configured to provide damping force to the door while the auto-closing device provides the closing force to the door.

A refrigerator comprising:
- a cabinet having a storage space;
- a door configured to open and close the cabinet;
- a hinge bracket configured to connect the door to the cabinet to rotatably support the door;
- an auto-closing device configured to provide a closing force to the door to assist in rotating the door towards a closed position, the auto-closing device being in contact with the hinge bracket during a portion of a rotation of the door;
- and
- a damping mechanism configured to provide damping force to the door while the auto-closing device provides the closing force to the door.
