Abstract
A multiblock copolymer having a structure in which polystyrene chains are attached to both terminals of a polyolefin chain, a resin composition comprising same, and methods for preparing them are described herein.

A multiblock copolymer comprising a polystyrene-based block comprising a repeating unit derived from an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a polyolefin-based block comprising a repeating unit derived from ethylene and a repeating unit derived from an alpha-olefin-based monomer, wherein
- a content of the repeating unit derived from the alpha-olefin-based monomer measured by 1H NMR (500 MHz, tetrachloroethane-d2, standard material TMS) spectrum per a number of branch carbon of the repeating unit derived from the alpha-olefin-based monomer satisfies from 7.5 wt % to 15 wt %, and a weight average molecular weight of the multiblock copolymer measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is from 110,000 g/mol to 300,000 g/mol.
A resin composition comprising polypropylene and a multiblock copolymer in a weight ratio of 1:0.01 to 1:0.25, wherein
- the multiblock copolymer comprises a polystyrene-based block comprising a repeating unit derived from an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a polyolefin-based block comprising a repeating unit derived from ethylene and a repeating unit derived from an alpha-olefin-based monomer of 5 or more carbon atoms, and
- a content of the repeating unit derived from the alpha-olefin-based monomer measured by 1H NMR (500 MHz, tetrachloroethane-d2, standard material TMS) spectrum per the number of branch carbon of the repeating unit derived from the alpha-olefin-based monomer satisfies from 7.5 wt % to 15 wt %, and a weight average molecular weight of the multiblock copolymer measured by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) is from 110,000 g/mol to 200,000 g/mol.
