Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a suit with an integrated air supply. The suit includes a body comprising a first body portion and a second body portion, an air supply coupleable to the body, a coupling mechanism coupled to the body and arranged for releasably receiving the air supply. The coupling mechanism is disposed on the first body portion and the second body portion of the suit.
Claims20
A suit assembly with an integrated air distribution network, the suit assembly comprising:
- a body comprising a first body portion and a second body portion;
- an air supply coupleable to the body;
- and
- a coupling mechanism coupled to the body and arranged for releasably receiving the air supply;
- wherein the coupling mechanism is disposed on the first body portion and the second body portion of the suit.
A method of distributing an air supply in a suit, the method comprising:
- coupling an air supply to a body suit using a coupling mechanism, the air supply comprising one or more air tanks, wherein the coupling mechanism is integrated with the body suit and arranged to receive the one or more air tanks;
- and
- capturing, by one or more sensors, a pressure measurement associated with the air supply, wherein the one or more sensors is coupled to the air supply;
- analyzing, by one or more processors of a controller, the pressure measurement associated with the air supply, wherein the controller is coupled to the body suit;
- and
- determining, by one or more processors of the controller, a total air capacity by evaluating an analysis of the pressure measurement.
A garment having an air distribution assembly, the garment comprising:
- a body;
- a first air container having an inlet and a valve movable relative to the inlet between an open position and a closed position;
- a second air container having an inlet and a valve movable relative to the inlet between an open position and a closed position;
- a coupling mechanism attached to the body and arranged for removably coupling the first air container and the second air container to the body;
- a controller operatively coupled to the valve of the first air container and the valve of the second air container;
- a regulator operably coupled to the controller;
- wherein the controller is arranged to open the valve of the first air container to fluidly couple the first air container to the regulator.
