Abstract
A deck (10) for a screening machine comprising: a plurality of screen mats (14a, 14b, . . . 14n) arranged to define a screen channel (12) for screening a material; a support framework comprising a plurality of transverse members (18a, 18b), each transverse member (18a, 18b) comprising an edge retention channel (22) within which an edge portion (24, 26) of at least one screen mat is received; a rigid retention member (28) which is received within the edge retention channel (22) so as to clamp the edge portion (24, 26) in place, wherein the retention member (28) is attached to the transverse member (18a. 18b) by at least one attachment.
Claims20
A deck for a screening machine comprising:
- a plurality of screen mats arranged to define a screen channel for screening a material;
- a support framework comprising a plurality of transverse members, each transverse member comprising an edge retention channel within which an edge portion of at least one screen mat is received;
- a rigid retention member which is received within the edge retention channel so as to clamp the edge portion in place, wherein the retention member is attached to the transverse member by a plurality of discrete attachments.
