Abstract
The invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising calcium lactate as an active agent and a polysaccharide, polymer, lipid, or a combination thereof. The pharmaceutical compositions are useful treating cancer. The invention also relates to foods and nutrient compositions comprising calcium lactate.
Claims7
An injectable composition comprising:
- a therapeutically effective amount of calcium lactate as an active agent;
- a pharmaceutically acceptable polysaccharide;
- and
- a polymer and/or a lipid,
- wherein a weight ratio of the calcium lactate, the pharmaceutically acceptable, polysaccharide and polymer and/or lipid is from 1:0.2-5:5-30.

The injectable composition of claim, wherein the polysaccharide is a cellulose derivative, pectin, hyaluronic acid, starch, guar gum, chitosan, alginate, alginic acid or combinations thereof.
