Retaining element

A method for locating a rigid support body at a predetermined location with respect to an aperture in a wall of a facility, comprising:

• providing at least one rigid support body and at least one retaining element disposed in a storage position and connected to a rigid support body via a respective connector, at a first position outside a facility, the rigid support body comprising a through-bore that extends through the support body from a first end of the support body to a further end and through which a flexible elongate member is locatable;
• urging at least a portion of the rigid support body and at least one retaining element through an aperture in a wall of the facility to a further position that is located within the facility;
• selectively swivelling the at least one retaining element from the storage position;
• and
• subsequently, via the retaining element disposed in a deployed position, preventing the rigid support body from being urged through the aperture in the wall of the facility in a direction towards the first position thereby locating the rigid support body at a predetermined position with respect to the aperture.
