Abstract
A free-radically polymerizable composition comprises at least one free-radically polymerizable compound, at least one transition metal acetylacetonate coordination complex having a neutral charge, and a photolabile reducing agent represented by the formula I R1, R2, and R3 a independently H or a C1-C18 hydrocarbyl group, and R4 is H or methyl. A method of polymerizing the free-radically polymerizable composition to provide an at least partially polymerized composition is also disclosed.

A free-radically polymerizable composition comprising:
- at least one free-radically polymerizable compound;
- at least one transition metal acetylacetonate coordination complex having a neutral charge;
- and
- a photolabile reducing agent represented by the formula
- wherein R1, R2, and R3 are independently H or a C1-C18 hydrocarbyl group, and R4 is H or methyl.
