Abstract
A vessel stabilizer including a base unit configured to be fixedly mounted to a hull of the vessel, and a drive unit comprising an upper part releasably assembled to a lower inner part. The drive unit includes a motor and an output element. The motor is configured to rotationally drive the output element and the output element is configured to be fixed to a stabilizer element outside the hull. A first insulation element is arranged between the base unit and the drive unit. The base unit is vibrationally insulated from the drive unit by the first insulation element.

A vessel stabilizer comprising:
- a base unit configured to be fixedly mounted to a hull of the vessel;
- and
- a drive unit comprising a motor and an output element,
- wherein the motor is configured to rotationally drive the output element and the output element is configured to be fixed to a stabilizer element outside the hull,
- wherein a first insulation element is arranged between the base unit and the drive unit, and
- wherein the base unit is vibrationally insulated from the drive unit by the first insulation element.
A vessel stabilizer comprising:
- a drive unit;
- a motor and an output element, wherein the motor is configured to rotationally drive the output element and the output element is configured to be fixed to a stabilizer element outside a hull of a vessel, and
- a strain wave gear system comprising a wave generator, a flexible spline and a fixed spline,
- wherein the drive unit includes:
- an upper inner part comprising the motor and the wave generator, and
- a lower inner part comprising the output element, the flexible spline and the fixed spline, wherein the fixed spline is fixed to the output element, and the upper inner part is configured to be removably assembled to the lower inner part from inside the hull.
