A hot stamping machine comprising a hot stamping roller, the roller designed to cooperate with an object to be decorated, the roller comprising at least a first roller part and a second roller part, each of the first roller part and the second roller part configured to rotate around a longitudinal axis of the roller, rotation of the first roller part being independent of rotation of the second roller part.
