Abstract
Implementations of a sex trafficking prevention mobile application are provided. In some implementations, the sex trafficking prevention mobile application comprises a mobile application for a portable computing device, such as a smart phone or similar device, and a corresponding software application for a computing device, such as a desktop or laptop computer. In some implementations, the sex trafficking prevention mobile application is configured to guide users to nearby safe locations to avoid or escape attack by sex traffickers. In some implementations, the sex trafficking prevention mobile application is configured to allow users to request nearby help from the community to avoid or escape attack by sex traffickers.
Claims11
A computer-implemented method for sex trafficking prevention, the method comprising:
- receiving at a first computing device safe place location information of the location of one or more safe places transmitted over a network from a second computing device;
- receiving at the first computing device user location information of the location of the first computing device;
- displaying a map indicating the location of the first computing device and the location of one or more of the safe places;
- and
- providing from the first computing device real-time navigation to the location of one of the safe places.
A computer-implemented method for sex trafficking prevention, the method comprising:
- receiving at a first computing device safe place location information of the location of one or more safe places transmitted over a network from one or more safe place computing devices respectively,
- transmitting by the first computing device the safe place location information over a network to a second computing device;
- and
- providing by the first computing device a communication link between the second computing device and one of the safe place computing devices.
A computer-implemented method for sex trafficking prevention, the method comprising:
- receiving at a first computing device safe place location information of the location of one or more safe places transmitted over a network from one or more safe place computing devices respectively,
- transmitting by the first computing device the safe place location information over a network to a second computing device;
- receiving at the second computing device the safe place location information over a network from the first computing device;
- receiving at the second computing device user location information of the location of the second computing device;
- displaying a map indicating the location of the second computing device and the location of one or more of the safe places;
- providing from the second computing device real-time navigation to the location of one of the safe place;
- and
- providing by the first computing device a communication link between the second computing device and one of the safe place computing devices.
