Abstract
A gas analysis system includes a first column, a second column, a merge portion connected to an outlet of the first column and an outlet of the second column, a detector that detects a gas component introduced from the merge portion, a switching valve arranged between the first column and the merge portion, and a controller. The controller performs delay processing of switching the switching valve between open and closed states so that timing of start of introduction of the gas component separated in the first column into the detector is delayed to be later than timing of completion of introduction of the gas component separated in the second column into the detector.

A gas analysis system comprising:
- a first column that separates a gas component contained in sample gas;
- a second column that separates a gas component contained in the sample gas;
- a detector that detects the gas components introduced from the first column and the second column;
- a valve that switches gas introduction from the first column into the detector;
- and
- a controller that performs delay processing of switching the valve between open and closed states so that timing of start of introduction of the gas component separated in the first column into the detector is delayed to be later than timing of completion of introduction of the gas component separated in the second column into the detector.
