High density peptide polymers

A copolymer having the formula:

• R1-[M(O)]n—R2
• wherein,
• n is an integer from 2 to 1000;
• each M is a polymerized ROMP polymerizable monomer;
• each O is independently a polypeptide covalently attached to M through a covalent linker;
• R1 and R2 are independently terminal polymer moieties;
• and
• wherein at least one M(O) is
• wherein,
• L1 is independently a bond, —O—, —NH—, —COO—, —S—, —SO2—, —SO3—, —SO4—, —SO2NH—, —NHC(O)—, —C(O)NH—, —NHC(O)O—, substituted or unsubstituted alkylene, substituted or unsubstituted heteroalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted heterocycloalkylene, substituted or unsubstituted arylene, or substituted or unsubstituted heteroarylene;
• and
• R4 is the therapeutic polypeptide capable of treating a disease and comprises from 5 to 2000 amino acids.
