Abstract
Embodiments are directed in part to endovascular prostheses and methods of deploying same. Embodiments may be directed more specifically to stent grafts and methods of positioning and deploying such devices within the body of a patient.
Claims20
A method of centering a delivery system and deploying a stent graft, comprising:
- placing an expandable device into a lumen of a stent graft, said expandable device being disposed on a catheter shaft and configured to radially expand within the lumen of the stent graft while a proximal or distal end of said stent graft is in a radially constrained configuration;
- placing the catheter within a patient's vessel;
- and
- expanding the expandable device to center the shaft toward a longitudinal axis of the patient's vessel, while maintaining a proximal or distal end of the stent graft in a radially constrained configuration.

A method of centering a delivery system and deploying a stent graft, comprising:
- providing an expandable device with a stent graft disposed thereon;
- placing the expandable device and stent graft within a patient's vessel;
- radially expanding the expandable device within a lumen of the stent graft to center a longitudinal axis of the stent graft toward a longitudinal axis of the patient's vessel while maintaining a proximal or distal end of the stent graft in a radially constrained configuration;
- and
- releasing the constraint to allow a proximal or distal end of the stent graft to engage the patient's vessel.

A method of centering a delivery system and deploying a stent graft, comprising:
- providing a stent graft comprising inflatable channels;
- placing an expandable device into a lumen of the stent graft, said expandable device being disposed on a catheter shaft;
- placing the catheter within a patient's vessel;
- expanding the expandable device to center the shaft toward a longitudinal axis of the patient's vessel, while maintaining a proximal or distal end of the stent graft in a radially constrained configuration;
- and
- radially expand the stent graft against the patient's vessel by inflating the inflatable channels within the lumen of the stent graft while a proximal or distal end of said stent graft is in a radially constrained configuration.
