Abstract
The present invention provides for a genetically modified fungal host cell capable of producing prespatane and/or epi-isozizaene comprising prespatane synthase (PPS) and/or epi-isozizaene synthase (EIZS).
Claims19
A genetically modified Rhodosporidium host cell capable of producing epi-isozizaene comprising epi-isozizaene synthase (EIZS), wherein the EIZS comprises an amino acid sequence having at least 70% identity with SEQ ID NO:2.
