Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure describe ink compositions comprising a plurality of vanadium oxide nanoparticles and one or more carrier solvents. Embodiments of the present disclosure further describe methods of preparing ink compositions, methods of printing the ink compositions, RF devices and/or components incorporating the ink compositions, and the like.
Claims20
A method for preparing an ink composition, the method comprising:
- preparing a plurality of vanadium oxide nanoparticles, wherein the plurality of vanadium oxide nanoparticles includes VO2 (A) and VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles;
- annealing the plurality of vanadium oxide nanoparticles sufficient to prepare substantially pure VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles, wherein annealing proceeds at a temperature ranging from about 200° C. to about 400° C.;
- and
- mixing the substantially pure VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles with one or more carrier solvents.
1 more element
A method for preparing an ink composition, the method comprising:
- annealing a plurality of vanadium oxide nanoparticles sufficient to prepare substantially pure VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles, wherein annealing proceeds at a temperature ranging from about 200° C. to about 400° C., and wherein the substantially pure VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles have an average particle size of less than 100 nm;
- and
- mixing the substantially pure VO2 (M) phase nanoparticles with one or more carrier solvents.
