Abstract
A method for managing navigating robots in emergency situations is performed by one or more processors, and includes receiving a map of a target building, in which a no-stop area for emergency situations is defined in the map, receiving location information from the navigating robot, receiving an emergency situation occurrence signal, and in response to determining that the navigating robot is located in the no-stop area in emergency situations, controlling the navigating robot to move outside the no-stop area.
Claims16
A method for managing navigating robots in emergency situations, the method being performed by one or more processors and comprising:
- receiving a map of a target building, wherein a no-stop area for emergency situations is defined in the map;
- receiving location information from a first navigating robot;
- receiving an emergency situation occurrence signal;
- and
- in response to determining that the first navigating robot is located in the no-stop area in emergency situations, controlling the first navigating robot to move outside the no-stop area.
A robot control system, comprising:
- a memory;
- and
- one or more processors connected to the memory and configured to execute one or more computer-readable programs included in the memory to cause the robot control system to,
- receive a map of a target building, wherein a no-stop area for emergency situations is defined in the map,
- receive location information from a navigating robot,
- receive an emergency situation occurrence signal, and in response to determining that the navigating robot is located in the no-stop area in emergency situations, control the navigating robot to move outside the no-stop area.
A building, wherein one or more navigating robots are arranged to provide services while driving in the building, comprising:
- the one or more navigating robots configured to be controlled by a robot control system, and
- the robot control system including,
- a memory, and
- one or more processors connected to the memory and configured to execute one or more computer-readable programs included in the memory to cause the robot control system to,
- receive a map of a target building, wherein a no-stop area for emergency situations is defined in the map,
- receive location information from a first navigating robot,
- receive an emergency situation occurrence signal, and
- in response to determining that the first navigating robot is located in the no-stop area in emergency situations, control the first navigating robot to move outside the no-stop area.
