Abstract
Disclosed is a new lock mechanism that enables the use of low-pressure cartridges in smoothbore semi-automatic hunting shotguns, and includes a lock that connects the barrel and the mechanism and ensures security to prevent the cartridge from exploding outside, a flat spring that allows the lock to be locked to the barrel by lifting the lock upwards and ensuring the lock to move downward with the pressure formed in the barrel, and a bolt carrier which allows back and forth movement of the mechanism with the pressure from the piston.
Claims1
The invention is a new locking mechanism that enables the use of low-pressure cartridges in smoothbore semi-automatic hunting shotguns, wherein the said mechanism comprises:
- a lock that connects the barrel and the mechanism and ensures security so that the cartridge does not explode outside;
- a flat spring which enables the locking process to be applied to the barrel by lifting the said lock upwards and allows the lock to move downward with a pressure created in the barrel;
- a bolt carrier which ensures back and forth movement of the mechanism with the pressure received from the piston;
- the wedge connected to the bolt carrier, which ensures that the flat spring remains stable and prevents breakages.
