A valve train (10) for an internal combustion engine, comprising:

• a first outlet valve (12);
• a first engine brake rocker shaft (16) that is pivotable around a pivot axis (20), wherein the first outlet valve (12) is operable by pivoting the first engine brake rocker shaft (16) during an engine braking operation of the internal combustion engine;
• a camshaft (26) which has a first cam (28) via which the first engine brake rocker shaft (16) is pivotable around the pivot axis (20);
• and
• a first spring element (44) via which the first engine brake rocker shaft (16) is tensioned against the camshaft (26);
• wherein the first spring element (44) is a first leaf spring (50).
